The T3 Model 6012 is a ram type blowout preventer suitable for surface drilling and well intervention, designed and manufactured to the requirements of API Specification 16A.

T3 can supply service Model 6012 blowout preventers to meet our customer's specific requirements including qualified ram packers, top seals, and bonnet seal kits for extreme service conditions, high or low temperature, and harsh chemical environments.

FEATURES

• Bodies are manufactured from forged materials that meet H2S Service in accordance with NACE MR0175

• Standard configuration is studded top connection x flanged bottom connection with studded outlets

• Additional configurations are available for specific requirements

• The Model 6012 ram BOP can be fitted with large bore shear bonnets for shearing applications and tandem boosters if additional shearing force is required

• Mechanical locks are standard equipment and ensure that the rams remain closed, in the case of loss of hydraulic pressure

• Hydraulically actuated mechanical locking system is available for drilling situations that do not allow access to manual locking systems

•  A full line of replacement parts are available for the Model 6012 and are interchangeable with the CIW "U" ™ BOP
