The T3 Model 7022 annular blowout preventer (BOP) is designed for surface installations on land and platform applications. These BOPs are compact and seal reliably on almost any shape or size pipe, casing or tool in the welllbore, as well as complete shut off (CSO) of the open bore. They provide positive pressure control for stripping drill pipe into and out of the hole.
This model is designed to use 1500 psi maximum hydraulic pressure to close the sealing element on objects in the wellbore and is designed and manufactured per API 16A specifications and where elements can be changed without contaminating the hydraulic operating system.
