T3 has designed a manifold solution that is specifically engineered for the harsh conditions encountered during flowbacks. These manifolds and control systems have been repeatedly tested and refined in South Texas, where service companies routinely encounter extremely high bauxite concentrations flowing at high velocities.
During tests of these systems, standard valves and chokes were washed out almost immediately, while T3's valves and chokes were able to operate for months without replacing any of the seats or gates. The major components of the T3 Flowback Manifold include:
The Model HPT™ Gate Valve is particularly well suited to flowbacks with extremely high concentrations of abrasive materials in the well bore. The patented seat seal assembly contains a special lip that keeps any abrasive material from entering the gate cavity, and thus keeps the high velocity particles flowing parallel to the flow bore of the valve. The result is a valve that can withstand months of exposure to these erosive flows, without requiring the downtime and expense of replacing the valve internals.
The Model HXE Choke was designed hand-in-hand with several of the leading well servicing and flowback companies. The hydraulic actuator is extremely light and easy to remove in the field, so changing choke trim is extremely fast and safe. The gate and seat designs have been refined through years of flowback experience to provide the absolute longest lasting gate/seat assembly in the industry. The satellite actuator nose is designed to rotate inside the choke body, thus the actuator does not have to be replaced if or when the nose becomes chipped or eroded due to objects or bauxite in the well fluid. Just rotate the nose, and continue flowing.
T3 has designed several control panels to be used in flowback and well servicing applications. These panels can be built to control multiple valves and chokes for redundant choke manifold operation. Control panels are available as either trailer mounted or skid mounted, and can be ordered with analog or digital gauges.
