HPT™ Extreme Service Gate Valves

T3  manufactures two separate lines of high pressure gate valves. Both valves are designed and tested to API 6A specifications and have been design reviewed by DNV and ABS.

Model HPT™ Gate Valve

The HPT™ Gate Valve family is T3's premium line of gate valves - designed specifically for high pressure and temperature environments (HP/HT). The HPT valve has a revolutionary new seat/seal assembly which incorporates a full metal-to-metal seal and NO elastomers. Thus, when used in applications where gasses are present, the valve seals are not susceptible to explosive decompression, a significant problem in other valve designs. In addition to HP/HT applications, the unique seat/seal assembly used in the Model HPT™ has made it the only value for use in highly erosive applications such as flowbacks and underbalanced drilling. The Model HPT™ can be manufactured to PSL 1 through 4.

The Model HPT™ Failsafe Actuator is available with a pressure-assist spring return hydraulic failsafe closed or open actuator with a hydraulic working pressure of 3000 psi. This actuator is available on gate valves ranging from sizes 2 1/16," through 11" and pressure ratings from 2000 psi through 20,000 psi. The design allows for the hydraulic seals to be changed easily and without the normal problems of removing the spring from the spring chamber.

• Quick Disconnect allows separation from the valve without disconnecting body/bonnet connection, allowing easy replacement of wear items such as stem packing, gate, seats, without disassembling actuator.
• Can be adapted to other gate valve designs.
• Drift ring used to adjust stroke of moving cylinder.
• Piston and cylinder can be removed and replaced from the top of the actuator without disturbing the spring.
• Unlike upstream sealing valves, the Model HPT™ Actuator allows well bore pressure assistance in closing the valve without any internal valve component modifications.

E-FC Gate Valve

The E-FC Gate Valve family is based on a design that has been an industry standard for 50 years. The E-FC is available in several trims, including DD and EE, and is also available with inconel or 316 stainless cladding in the seat pockets and/or ring grooves. The E-FC can be manufactured to PSL 1 through PSL 3.
