HPT Subsea Gate Valves

HPT™ Subsea Production Gate Valves are qualified to API 17D for 10,000 feet of water depth. These can be either failsafe-close or failsafe-open design. T3's HPT Subsea actuator is unique in that it utilizes an integral hydrostatic pressure compensating design that avoids ANY sea-water ingress into the spring chamber and also removes the need for an external hydrostatic compensating unit. They are also available with options such as ROV override.

The valves are available in various configurations such as flanged ends, hubbed ends or studded ends. Dual block valve configurations are also available. Working pressure of the actuator is 3000 psi. The failsafe-close subsea actuator does not need any control pressure assistance for its closure against full differential of the gate valve working pressure, as spring force alone is sufficient to close the valve. Control pressure ports are provided on both 'Open' and 'Close' sides of subsea actuator. Ease of maintenance is achieved through a quick disconnect mechanism between the actuator and the gate valve. This allows quick and easy removal and replacement of stem packing. The spring remains housed within the actuator all the time and is not exposed to handling by a field operator.

The Type E-C choke is an industry-standard hydraulic drilling choke that has become a work-horse throughout the drilling industry. T3 DF Gate valves are hydraulically actuated balanced stem valves intended primarily for subsea drilling applications. With a balanced stem, there is no fluid displacement in the valve body during the opening or closing operation. This permits bi-directional sealing of the valve and allows any number of valves to be spaced closely in the same line without the possibility of "Hydraulic Locking" due to liquid within the valve or between the valves. This also assures good grease retention in the gate cavity. Operating Pressure for the T3DF Gate valve is 1500 to 3000 psi and working pressure is 10,000 and 15,000 psi while operating temperatures are from 0° to 250° F.

6012 Diamond Series Subsea BOP

The T3 Diamond Series Model 6012RS is a subsea ram-type blowout-preventer suitable for drilling and well intervention, designed and manufactured to the requirements of API Specification 16A.

This BOP is equipped with Radial Bonnet Seals which reduces the make-up torque required on the bonnet bolts. It is also equipped with Hydraulically Actuated Mechanical Locks (HAML). The Bonnets may be equipped with compact tandem boosters for shearing. The Boosters disengage once shearing is completed which extends the service life of the Ram Packers.

T-3 Energy Services, Inc. has designed and manufactured its T-3 Diamond Series™ Model 6012 Subsea Double Ram Blowout Preventer (“T-3 Model 6012 Subsea BOP”) fitted with Subsea Compact Tandem Booster Bonnets and Casing Shear Bonnets.

The T-3 Model 6012 Subsea BOP is currently available in an 18-3/4” bore size and is designed to meet customer demands for 10,000 PSI working pressure blowout preventers. The T-3 Model 6012 Subsea BOP is designed with hydraulically actuated mechanical locks (HAML) as well as T-3 proprietary Compact Tandem Booster Bonnets and Blind Shear Rams in the upper cavity and T-3’s proprietary Casing Shear Bonnets which are the industry’s first Casing Shear Ram for this size & type of BOP in the lower cavity.

6011i Ram BOP

The T3 Model 6011i Ram BOP is available in 7 1/16", 9", 11", and 13 5/8" bore sizes and was designed to meet the market need for a more economically priced 2,000 psi, 3,000 psi, and 5,000 psi working pressure ram BOP. The T3 Model 6011i is priced to compete with remanufactured equipment of the same bore size and pressure rating.

This model has the same well pressure control performance as "U" ram BOPs which ensures product support worldwide from ram rental companies and also gives customers expanded options for ram block and packer product support. The T3 Model can be fitted with fixed bore pipe rams and variable bore rams.

WS2 Well Service Choke

The T3 WS2 choke is designed for severa well service applications where trims wear out quickly and trim change outs are frequent. The design provides extended trim life in erosive service and quick trim changeouts.

The worm gear operator allows for precise positioning and fail in last position. This choke has hydraulic actuation and is available with electric or pneumatic actuation. The position transmitter provides accurate position indication via remote digital indicator with low torque manual override.

T3 Model 6000 Shear Ram

The T3 model 6000 Shearing Sealing Rams comprise energized sealing capabilities much the same as pipe rams. They are employed as blind rams during normal drilling operations and conform to NACE MR-01-75 requirements for integral blade shearing sealing rams.

This ram's single-piece body has a fold-over shoulder which bends the lower section of sheared pipe. This allows clarance for the ram to close and seal. It can also shear pipe numerous times without affecting operation and sealing. The application for Model 6000 was recently allowed for issuance as a patent.

The T3 Model 7082 spherical blowout preventer (BOP) is designed for surface installations on land and platform applications. These BOPs are compact and seal reliably on almost any shape or size pipe, casing or tool in the wellbore, as well as complete shut off (CSO) of the open bore. They provide positive pressure control for stripping drill pipe into and out of the hole. As with the Model 7022 model, the T3 Model 7082 BOP is designed to use 1500 psi maximum hydraulic pressure to close the sealing element on objects in the wellbore. Closing action begins when hydraulic fluid is pumped into the area below the piston. This BOP is designed and manufactured per API 16A specifications, the overall height is less than the other annular BOP designs, and the element can be changed without contaminating the hydraulic operating system. ...
